About Us
In recent years the Senators have not competed in all masters tournaments, choosing to focus only on the biennial Pan PacMasters Games held on the Gold Coast. Interest and numbers have boomed over the last few years. In 2018 we anticipate entering 6 teams and have over 140 registered players. The Senators pride themselves on being an all inclusive organisation, we encourage all players no matter what their goals, standards or injury status to register and become part of the family. Speaking of family we also encourage your family, partners and supporters to join us. We anticipate that well over 60 family members will be there in 2018 to support the teams along.
Who are the Canberra Senators?
Well to put it simply we are a group of guys who get together every two years or so and participate in Masters Games. We aim to provide as many “masters” players the opportunity to come together under the Senators family umbrella to enjoy not only a great week of baseball but a well organised “complete” touring package.
The Beginning
Established in 1989 under the enthusiastic guidance of our founder Pat Britten. We had our modest group supported by a skillful few interstate recruits that bandied together playing in Masters Tournaments around the globe. In our early days the Senators have been proudly represented at the Guam Masters, Australian Masters in Alice Springs and Newcastle while also hosting the tournament in Canberra. We of course attend the Pan Pacs Masters Games. It was through Pat’s persistence and the support of a tireless band of players that carried the enjoyable load till today.
The Present

The Future
Who knows where the future may lead but The Canberra Senators shall be around for many more years. We are looking at expanding our horizons to include other Masters Tournaments including the World Masters... now that would be a road trip! We shall meet the demands of the people if there is enough interest to attend these other tournaments drop us a line and express your interest.
